Terms of Service

The ground rules for using our website, our quotes, and our text messaging program. Last updated August 13, 2026.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing firstresponsevoyages.com, submitting a quote request, joining our SMS program, or booking travel with First Response Voyages LLC (“First Response Voyages,” “we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

Age restriction (18+)

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this website, submit a quote request, join our SMS program, or book travel through First Response Voyages. By using the site or our services, you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into binding agreements. Bookings for travelers under 18 must be made by a parent or legal guardian who is 18 or older, and that adult accepts full responsibility for the minor's travel.

Licensing and registration

First Response Voyages LLC is an independently owned and operated travel agency in Sarasota, Florida. We are First Response Voyages LLC, an Independent affiliate of KHM Travel Group. We are not an employee, officer, or manager of KHM Travel Group.

Jeremy Rice is registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services as a Sellers of Travel Independent Sales Agent, Reg. No. TI151018.

Travel is sold under the seller of travel registrations of our host agency, KHM Travel Group (KHM Consulting Inc.), 50 Pearl Road, Suite 300, Brunswick, Ohio 44212, phone 330-460-5635. California Seller of Travel Registration # 2089491-50. Registration as a seller of travel in California does not constitute the state's approval. Agent is not a participant in the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund. Florida Seller of Travel Registration # ST37113. Hawaii Seller of Travel License # TAR 7231. Washington Seller of Travel UBI # 602 775122.

All payments for travel are made directly to the cruise line, resort, or other supplier, or to our host agency, under their published payment schedules and cancellation terms. First Response Voyages does not accept, hold, or process payment directly from travelers.

All tickets, confirmations, vacation certificates, and other travel documents are issued by the cruise line, supplier, or host agency. First Response Voyages does not issue travel documents.

Description of service

First Response Voyages is an independent cruise travel agency based in Sarasota, Florida serving clients nationwide. We research, quote, book, and support cruise travel for individuals, families, and groups. We are not a cruise line, airline, hotel, insurer, or tour operator. Travel is provided by third-party suppliers under their own terms, cancellation policies, and fare rules, which you agree to when you book. Quotes are estimates based on availability at the time of preparation and are not confirmed until a deposit is received and the supplier issues a confirmation.

User responsibilities

  • Provide accurate names exactly as they appear on travel documents, plus accurate dates of birth and contact details.
  • Obtain and maintain valid passports, birth certificates, visas, and any required health documentation.
  • Meet deposit, final payment, and document deadlines communicated to you.
  • Review supplier terms, cancellation penalties, and insurance options before booking.
  • Use the site lawfully and refrain from disrupting, scraping, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to it.

Fees and payments

Our quoting and booking services are provided at no additional cost to you - cruise lines pay our commission. Any exception, such as a nonrefundable group deposit or a supplier fee, is charged and collected by the supplier, not by us, and will be disclosed to you in writing beforehand. All payments for travel are made to the cruise line or supplier under their payment schedule and cancellation terms.

Intellectual property

The First Response Voyages name, logo, site design, copy, illustrations, and photographs are owned by First Response Voyages LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission. Cruise line names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Disclaimer of warranties

The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that pricing, availability, or itinerary information supplied by third parties is complete or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, First Response Voyages LLC and its owners and staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any act, omission, delay, cancellation, injury, loss, or damage caused by a cruise line, airline, hotel, transportation provider, port authority, weather event, or other third party. Our total liability for any claim relating to our services will not exceed the amount of commission we actually received on the booking at issue.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First Response Voyages LLC from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or inaccurate information you provide to us or to a travel supplier.

SMS Messaging Terms

By opting in to receive text messages from First Response Voyages, you agree to the following:

  • You may receive recurring SMS messages related to cruise quote follow-ups, booking and trip confirmations, deposit and final-payment reminders, travel document and check-in deadlines, and occasional promotional cruise offers for first responders from First Response Voyages.
  • Message frequency varies, typically up to 6 messages per month.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
  • You can cancel the SMS program at any time by texting “STOP.” After you send “STOP,” we will confirm your opt-out and send no further messages, except one final confirmation message.

  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Supported carriers include all major US mobile carriers. Carrier participation may change without notice.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the website, the customer portal, or our services at any time for conduct that violates these terms or that harms other clients, our suppliers, or us. You may stop using the site at any time and request removal of your account.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sarasota County, Florida, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updates take effect when posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Continued use of the site or the SMS program after an update means you accept the revised terms.
