First Response Voyages (“First Response Voyages,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent cruise travel agency operated by First Response Voyages LLC, 2831 Ringling Blvd #101A, Sarasota, FL 34237. We serve first responders and their families nationwide through our website at firstresponsevoyages.com. This policy explains how we handle information collected through our website, forms, email, and text messaging program.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email address, mobile phone number, mailing address, first-responder role and agency, travel dates, party size and travelers’ ages, cruise line preferences and loyalty numbers, budget range, and any notes you send us.
- Travel documentation details: when you book, we may collect passport or birth-certificate status, dates of birth, and similar details required by cruise lines to ticket your sailing.
- Billing information: billing contact and payment status. We do not store full credit card numbers on our systems - cruise lines and payment processors handle card data directly.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring links.
How we use your information
- Prepare and send your cruise quotes and group proposals.
- Book, service, and support your travel with cruise lines and suppliers.
- Send trip updates, deposit and final-payment reminders, and document deadlines.
- Respond to questions by email, phone, or text.
- Send optional deal alerts and newsletters you asked to receive.
- Improve our website, keep it secure, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses essential cookies to keep the site working and may use privacy-focused analytics to understand which pages people find useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential functions such as signing in to a customer portal may stop working if you do. We do not use cookie walls or block content before you consent.
Third-party services
We share only what is necessary with the partners that make travel happen: cruise lines and travel suppliers, our host agency, and the vendors that run our website hosting, database, email delivery, and text messaging. These providers may only use the information to perform services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards - encrypted connections, access controls, private document storage, and role-restricted admin accounts - designed to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take this seriously and limit access to the people who need it.
Data retention
We keep quote requests, booking records, and communications for as long as needed to serve you and to meet tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping requirements - generally up to seven years after your last trip or inquiry. You may ask us to delete information we are not legally required to retain.
Children’s privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information directly from them. Parents and guardians do provide minors’ names, ages, and travel document details when booking family travel; we use that information only to ticket the sailing. If you believe a child has submitted information to us directly, contact us and we will remove it.
Your rights and choices
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete information.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
- Reply STOP to any text message to leave the SMS program.

Mobile Messaging (SMS) Program
This section applies to the SMS text messaging program operated by First Response Voyages.
Program description. When you opt in to receive text messages from First Response Voyages, you may receive two types of messages: (1) non-marketing messages related to cruise quote follow-ups, booking and trip confirmations, deposit and final-payment reminders, travel document and check-in deadlines, and other service-related updates; and (2) occasional marketing and promotional cruise offers for first responders. You can consent to one or both types separately. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. How we collect your number. We collect your mobile number when you submit our website quote request form, contact form, group cruise inquiry form, booking or guest-details form, or text our text-to-join keyword. We ask you to consent separately to marketing messages and to non-marketing messages (such as booking updates, reminders, and account notifications). In every case, your express written consent is obtained prior to enrolling you in the SMS program.
No sharing of mobile information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, regardless of purpose.
Data we collect. In connection with the SMS program, we collect your phone number, the type(s) of messages you consent to (marketing and/or non-marketing), the date, time, and source of your opt-in, message content sent and received, and opt-out events.
Retention. Mobile numbers and opt-in/opt-out records are retained for as long as you remain enrolled and for a reasonable period thereafter to maintain compliance and audit records.
Security. We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your mobile information from unauthorized access.
